Our greens and clubrooms can host to a wide range of groups and activities
Casual bowls events
Come and use of our green for an hour or two of bowls followed by a BBQ lunch or tea. All this for $10 per person (or negotiable price for larger groups) which includes green and bowls hire; perfect for the start of the day for stag/hen parties or a work social. For $50 we can set up the club’s large gas BBQ for you, or for $100 you can use the gas spit roaster. The well-stocked and reasonably priced bar can usually be made available for your group. Indoor bowls (24 players), a pool table, gaming machines, Sky sports on two large screens and three dart boards are also available if the day is rained out.
Footwear
Flat soles shoes are compulsory. They can have lightly ridged soles, but no raised or attached heel. Jandals are fine, no work boots.
Oudoor tables and chairs
We have 8 plastic outdoor chairs plus some benches and fixed greenside seats, and some large trestle tables that can be set up outside on a fine day.
Hall Hire
Our club rooms are very well kept, comfortable and air conditioned with a covered outdoor deck. The upstairs and downstairs are both available to be hired out for functions, or by other clubs for regular activities. Here’s some of the events we’ve hosted in the past:

If bowling isn’t for you we can arrange with our Quiz Night provider Qwizard for them to put together a tailored one-off event fundraisers/charity/social quiz with questions just for your group for $150.
Stag/Hen bookings are more than welcome to come along for some some bowling, but we usually only take 21st bookings from members of the club.
The facilities
Two full size greens, one top quality natural surface and the other a very good artificial green which enables us to play bowls right through the winter. The artificial green can be floodlit for evening bowls, and is situated right next to our covered BBQ area.
Our clubrooms cover two floors:
The upstairs hall includes full kitchens facilities. Its maximum capacity is 172 people but if you are looking at a sit down meal we would advise no more than 80-100. Tables and chairs are available which you can arrange to meet your requirements.
Downstairs we have a lounge & bar with Sky on two large projectors and retractable screens, a pool table, dance floor, 3 competition quality dart boards, and 7 gaming machines. Maximum capacity is 213, with seating and tables normally set up for 113. The Lounge can be hired with the use of the kitchen upstairs at no extra cost. (unless the kitchen is otherwise hired)

Food and Drink
Groups are welcome to bring their own food or make arrangements for catering, and we are hoping to have in house available in near future.
Use of the BBQ costs $50, the spit roaster $100. Let us know you need it and we’ll make sure the one you want is set up ready to go with a full gas bottle, you’ll just need to bring your food and cooking utensils.
Our bar stocks a wide selection of drinks. Arrangements can be made with the Bar Chairperson regarding the supply of wines for wedding toasts and running bar tabs to ensure compliance with the terms of our liquor license.
We can run a bar tab of whatever format you’d like, we just ask that the tab is paid in advance (this can be in instalments on the day) before we serve anyone drinks as unfortunately we’ve been stung with unpaid bar tabs in the past.
The bar usually opens from 2:30pm but we can arrange to have the bar open earlier at a cost of $35 per hour. For large groups additional bar staff may be required at a cost of $35 per hour.
Our license does not allow for people to BYO so no alcoholic or non alcoholic drinks are to be brought into the club
If a special license is required the person/s hiring the facilities shall advise the Club Officer 28 days prior to the event (so the club can lodge the application) and shall be responsible for all associated costs – approximately $75.00 for numbers under 100, over 100 is approximately $217.00.
