The latest season of our social bowls league came to an end 7th March. While it may have taken place under a grey sky, the costumes and high spirits of our competitors brightened up the evening.

Siosiana asked the assembled player to join in thanking Yvonne for all the hard work she put in to organizing Mate’s in Bowls and it’s successors for more than a decade before she stepped down at the end of the last league.
After six weeks of close but friendly competition the top six teams this season were:

2nd: Dangerous Dames
3rd: MFB’s
4th: Jack of all trades
5th: CBD
6th: West Pepez
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped Sharon, Siosiana and her team on the night including Janet, Nigel, Rosco, Sean, Jennifer the bar staff, and grounds team.
