In 2021 Glen Eden Bowling Club joined Clubs New Zealand Inc.
What is Club NZ?
Established in 1912, they are the leading association for clubs in New Zealand. It is a member led, not-for-profit organisation and represents more than 300 clubs around the country including chartered clubs, community clubs, cosmopolitan clubs, workingmen’s clubs, sports clubs and RSAs.
Why did the club join?
ClubNZ offer guidance and education to help your executive with running the club at a lower cost than other training providers, particularly in the areas of liquor and gaming licensing where compliance is essential for our club to continue to offer service to members.
How much is it costing the club?
$5 a year per club member, included in your GEBC membership fee.
What do you get out of it?
Alongside knowing the club can get help and advice about how to be the best club it can, as a member of an affiliated club you can access any of their network of 300 member clubs as a reciprocal visitor. This means you will be able to enter and use club facilities wherever your travels around the country may take you.
