The 29th of January saw the first event on our Centenary celebration calendar with an Any Combination Triples tournament for members past and present.
The club looked a treat with the clubroom’s exterior newly painted in the updated colour scheme, and the centenary flag and banner proudly displayed.
On the newly refurbished green the 12 teams enjoyed themselves with a full day of four games. In the end the top three were clear as the only ones to win at least 3 games.
The day also saw the draw of the raffle for much coveted prize; a unique set of Centenary bowls (Dreamline XGs) graciously supplied by Henselite. The lucky winner was long time member and ex club secretary Wendy Mather, who will no-doubt put them to good use on the greens.
Many thanks to Henselite for the bowls and to all the members who bought tickets, you helped the club raise $1000 towards our centenary celebrations.
