We have been advised this evening that a person who was at the Glen Eden Bowling Club last Sunday, 15 August, was in contact with a person who has now tested positive for the Covid virus.
Our Club President Siosiana has spoken to a customer service representative on the Covid 19 Health line who advised Glen Eden Bowling Club is NOT registered as a place of interest at the current moment, if this changes they will make contact with us.
Their advice was that if you were at the club on Sunday and have any virus symptoms you should contact your GP or get a COVID test. For information check the https://covid19.govt.nz/ website
This highlights the need to scan in, even when you think everything is under control. We’ll keep you advised on any changes as and when we know.
