Thanks to The Trusts for giving us the opportunity to raise $11,040 in their Million Dollar Mission, and all those people who voted for us, it allowed us to send out the old and bring in with the new during our working bee on Saturday 18 May. The club room now has 21st century air-conditioners in time to keep everyone warm as winter looms.
During the voting period tt had looked like we’d be lucky to get to 10k but a surge in voting on the last day saw us jump to our full target, we think it was due to supporters of other local sports clubs who once they’d reached their targets decided to support another local sports facility.
